"I love this," Steven said, resting his head on Llewellyn's shoulder. "Being romantic with you at random moments of the day."

"On a whim," Watts agreed. "Because I love you, and I love seeing you smile. Being the reason for your smile."

"You are excellent at making me smile," Steven said, doing just that against Llewellyn's shoulder. "Rather talented at it I'd say."

"I do my best to stay in practice," Watts said. "Got to keep my skills sharp if I expect to be doing so for the rest of my life, now don't I?"

Well now Steven was melted against him. "You say such wonderful things."

"Because I've a wonderful man to say them to," Watts replied.

"Now who's flirting?" Steven asked, lifting his head so Llewellyn could see him grin.

"Oh, me," Watts said, unrepentant. "Is it working?"

Steven giggled. "Very much so. You're rather good at it."

"Another skill I am doing my best to hone," Watts told him, guiding them back to the counter, though not yet letting go.

"You're already amazing," Steven told him. "Imagine how much more you'll be decades from now."

"Alongside the love of my life?" Watts said, sneaking in one more kiss before he went to get the whipped topping.

"How else would you get practice making the love of your life smile?" Steven pointed out.

"Precisely," Watts agreed, setting the bowl down next to the bowl of strawberries.

Steven took a seat on one of the stools at the counter so he'd be more inclined to focus on eating than getting distracted by kissing Llewellyn.

It did not rule out getting distracted by kissing, but he was at least doing his best to try.

"How can I help?"

"You have," Watts said, picking out one of the biscuits Steven had sliced, as well as his own lopsided first attempt.

"That's mine," Steven reminded him. Not that he thought Llewellyn forgot, but in case Llewellyn wondered if Steven had changed his mind.

"You may need to eat it quickly, once it's assembled," Watts warned. "In case the filling decides to slide out.

He started placing strawberries on the bottom half of each biscuit, with a few extra on Steven's. Both because he liked making sure Steven had plenty and because maybe they would help create a more even surface for the top biscuit.

Steven wasn't thinking about structural integrity so instead he smiled at what to him was just a large portion. "Being generous. Thank you."

"Only the best for you," Watts replied.

"Thank you," Steven said. He reached to gently rub Llewellyn's back, since hopefully that wasn't too distracting. "You take such good care of me."

"It is my pleasure to," Watts replied, carefully adding the whipped topping, and then topping it off with the other half of the biscuit.

Steven gave an appreciative clap. "Well done! It looks delicious."

Watts smiled warmly, sliding it over to Steven before finishing assembling his own.

Steven looked about for his mobile so he could take a picture of it. "I think it looks lovely."
